How to scout a profile on Ganda
A Ganda scout submits a profile for someone who has given explicit permission. Use scout mode on the submission form and choose whether to show your scout credit.
Before you submit
Ask the person whether they agree to a public Ganda profile and the photos and details you plan to use. Public social media photos alone are not permission. Follow the community rules, which prohibit impersonation and sharing personal information without consent.
Use recent, accurate photos and details. If you find a profile posted without permission, use the contact form to tell the Ganda team.
Submit with scout mode
- Open the profile submission form and choose scout mode.
- Enter the agreed profile details and upload a photo.
- Choose credited or anonymous scouting, then submit. Join or sign in if prompted.
For contest participation and voting, read the pageant voting guide and check the relevant contest page. Scout credit is a separate part of the profile submission.
Read the scout leaderboard
The scout leaderboard has two views. Profiles Scouted ranks scouts by the number of active profiles attributed to them. The Total Votes view ranks by weighted points across those profiles, while the cards also show vote counts. A vote count and a weighted point total are different measures.
Scouting questions
Can I submit someone else to Ganda?
Yes, with their explicit permission. Ganda community rules allow profiles for yourself or someone who has explicitly agreed. Do not submit someone simply because their photos are public.
Do I need to sign in to submit a scouted profile?
You can fill out the submission form first. If you are signed out when you submit, Ganda asks you to join or sign in before continuing.
Can I submit without public scout credit?
Scout mode offers credited and anonymous options. The anonymous option does not show scout credit on the submitted profile. It does not remove the requirement to have permission.
